Cubs Soccer Shield

Cubs Soccer

Birth Year: April 1, 2020 – December 31, 2021

Cubs Soccer is the perfect introduction to the sport for young children, focusing on playful, creative ways to develop soccer fundamentals. Through fun drills, children will begin learning essential skills like kicking, dribbling, and passing. The program emphasizes physical activity, coordination, and social interaction in a non-competitive and supportive environment. Each session is designed to keep kids engaged and excited while gradually building their comfort with the ball.

  • Practices: Every Saturday, players will rotate through three skill stations for 30 minutes. Each station introduces basic soccer skills through activities that feel more like games than drills, encouraging active participation and enjoyment.
  • Break: After the skill stations, players will have a 10-minute snack break to recharge and socialize with their peers.
  • Games: A 20-minute game will follow, allowing the children to apply their new skills in a light, informal match that focuses on fun rather than competition.

Note: Parents must remain at the field for the entire session. Drop-offs are not allowed.
